Contact

Email support@ming-app.org for anything — a bug, a question about your account or subscription, feedback, or press inquiries. We read every message and typically reply within a couple of business days.

Delete your account and data

In the app, open Settings → Delete account. Your account and everything synced to it — word progress, review history, streak, invite and subscription records — are permanently deleted right away. If you pay for Pro through Stripe, that subscription is cancelled automatically first. An App Store or Google Play subscription can only be cancelled by you in that store, so cancel it there first (see below) to stop future charges.

Can't open the app? Email support@ming-app.org with the subject "Delete my account" from the email address on your account, and we'll delete it within 30 days and confirm once it's done.

See the Privacy Policy for exactly what's stored and for how long.

Ming Pro

How do I cancel?

In the app, go to Settings → Manage subscription — it opens the right place for how you paid:

  • App Store: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Ming.
  • Google Play: Play Store → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Ming.
  • Card via Stripe (web, or iPhone in the US): sign in at app.link.com with the email you paid with.

Pro stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for.

I paid but Pro isn't showing.

Make sure you're signed in to the same Ming account you bought Pro on, then reopen the app — Pro usually appears within a few seconds. On iPhone or Android you can also tap Restore purchases at the bottom of the Pro screen. Still nothing? Email us with your receipt and we'll sort it out.

Can I get a refund?

App Store and Google Play purchases are refunded by Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google (Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Budget & history). For card purchases through Stripe, email us or Link support. If something went wrong on our side, tell us — we'll make it right.

Common issues

I'm not receiving my reminder notification.

Check that notifications are allowed for Ming in your device's system settings, and that a reminder time is set in the app's settings. Reminders are local to your device, so they won't fire if the app has been force-quit on some Android versions.

My progress didn't sync to a new device.

Make sure you're signed in with the same account (Apple, Google, or email) on both devices. Progress syncs automatically in the background when you're signed in and online.

I didn't get my sign-in code.

Check your spam or promotions folder for an email from Ming. Codes expire after an hour — tap "Use a different email" and request a new one if needed.

I want to change my daily pace.

Open Settings inside the app and pick a new daily goal — 5, 10, or 15 minutes. It takes effect on your next lesson.
